  2. Hi kseverny — I totally agree! I thought that the subtitled “translations” were a stroke of genius. I just love how Lionel McClelland throws himself into this reading.

    This was a gift! Love Burns when recited in original Scottish argot. The translation is not nealy as poetic and powerful, though. I hate to admit it – I love haggis even though I am a Hungarian, and my mostly Scottish family ( married Into) absolutely loathe the stuff and make gagging noises when I bring it out to serve. HRBD a day later. H
