I am lucky in working part time and living with a partner who totally understands my need for my own space sometimes. So good work life balance, though at the moment I seem to be tripping over creative opportunities everywhere and may be finding myself with too many projects, which is a new challenge for me.... Embracing your experiences is such a vital piece of advice, these moments are what give us creativity after all ... this is excellent advice. Ultimately, I think that many of us artists eventually learn that there really isn’t a separation between art and life – the two work together, not in isolation. :)

Having a partner who is also an artist can be a boon and a challenge; I salute you both as you navigate the balance of space and schedule between you. It helps that your partner already has insight into that struggle to make room for the art.
