Photography for insects

Yesterday I discovered Myrmecos, a blog composed by Alex Wild discussing insects, photography, and life.  I was most excited about his post demonstrating how some kinds of ant nests are visible using the Google Earth tool.

Upon further exploration of his site I discovered great articles about photographic technique suitable for insects, including his piece On-Camera Flash Diffusion - talk about a creative solution!  Myrmecos also includes links to Wild’s stunning online galleries.  Crawl on over and see for yourself!
