So fragile and beautiful! It always amazing such fragile stems can grow tall and strong.

Diane, thanks! I feel exactly the same – the farm is in a completely different mood in the winter, and the local stone and weathered wood blend right into the landscape.
SpyScribbler, I really enjoy the “flower skeletons” still standing this time of year. Until the big snow comes, there are still clumps of brown ironweed and queen anne’s lace.
